Job Description
We are looking for Forklift Truck Drivers to join a brand-new state of the art facility in Coventry, CV2. This role is starting ASAP and this is long term work. This is a half a million sq. foot building, that is built to the highest sustainable specification.
Full training will be provided. Any current holder of an in-date Reach or VNA or licences will be put forward for the training. If your licence has expired and is less than 6 months from the expiry date or previous experience please still apply.
Shift and Pay Information for Forklift Truck Driver:
- Rotational Shifts - Any 5 from 7. Must be able to rotate.
- 06.00 - 14.00 or 07.00 - 15.00
- 12.00-20.00 or 14.00 - 22.00
- MHE Operatives - £12.60 per hour, £16.38 for hours worked between 22.00 - 06.00
- MHE OT £18.90 per hour
What you'll be doing as a Forklift Truck Driver in Coventry, CV2.
- Operating MHE trucks to load and unload the containers.
- Stock put away - putting pallets of stock into aisle locations in the racking.
- Some Handballing will be involved also.
- Quality check
- Work as part of a team as well as lone working
- Colleagues must be able to read / understand English.
- Comply with our health and safety standards at all times, ensuring adherence to all rules and regulation
- Responsible for the completion of warehouse tasks as directed
- Carry out manual handling activities, operate manual handling equipment, ensure compliance to Health and Safety procedures and processes
- Ensure 100% accuracy
About you as a Forklift Truck Driver:
Successful candidates will have a strong work ethic as a warehouse worker, attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience in a warehouse environment would be beneficial but not essential as FULL training is provided.
Our client is looking for flexible, punctual and willing to learn workers.
We are looking for workers with experience on VNA or Reach Trucks.
Inductions will be held over 2 days.
