Senior Store Designer Overview:

Our client is in search of a Senior Store Designer to spearhead the conception and execution of store design initiatives across various retail partners and platforms. The ideal candidate possesses an innate flair for design coupled with a proven track record in overseeing the end-to-end process of design projects, from conception to implementation, while adeptly managing multiple projects simultaneously. This role requires a highly creative individual capable of delivering innovative design solutions swiftly, all while ensuring cost-effectiveness and alignment with the business's commercial objectives. Senior Store Designer Responsibilities:

Lead and manage store design projects, from concept to implementation, for new stores, renovations, and fixtures, ensuring adherence to project requirements. Create 2D and 3D drawings, designing within brand and retailer guidelines while accommodating shop-specific needs. Provide design solutions and value engineering options to meet project goals. Conduct space planning, including understanding ADA requirements. Prepare project documentation for global HQ, cross-functional partners, and retailer approvals. Collaborate with the internal Visual Merchandising team on new shop designs. Gather feedback from stakeholders and adjust designs accordingly. Review construction sets, shop drawings, and vendor proposals to ensure compliance and budget alignment. Source and specify interior finishes and fixtures. Manage multiple projects efficiently, ensuring excellence in both creative and execution phases. Coordinate communication with external consultants and vendors, including budget and schedule management. Attend offsite meetings with production vendors and occasionally oversee on-site installations. Foster positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including architectural agencies, shopfitters, retail partners, and brand marketing teams.

Senior Store Designer Qualifications:

Minimum 7 years of luxury beauty industry experience, adept at meeting fast-paced deadlines. Degree in Architecture (preferred), Interior Design, or Industrial Design with demonstrated design, production, and construction experience. Proficient in SketchUp, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office. Preferred experience in luxury retail, beauty, and skincare. Capable of independently managing projects from inception to completion. Skilled in project management, including budgeting and scheduling. Thrives in fast-paced environments, adaptable to tight deadlines. Balances design creativity with commercial objectives. Knowledgeable in high-quality materials and finishes to uphold a brand luxury image. Strong interpersonal skills for effective cross-functional partnerships
