Job Role: Technical Assistant - Food Manufacturing
Salary: £24,000-£26,000
Hours: Early starts / Shifts required.
Duties:
- Customer complaints; investigating causes and communicating results
- Writing product specifications
- Provide information and expertise internally on all food safety and quality related matters
- Ensure specifications and supplier approval is up to date
- Ensure process paperwork is correct and controlled
- Annual updates to quality procedures where/when required
- To contribute to the evolution of paperless food safety and quality paperwork
Ideally you will have :
- Knowledge of food laws and regulations, including allergens, nutritional and ingredient declarations
- Knowledge of labelling requirements within the food industry
- At least 2 years experience in a similar role within the food industry
- Good computer skills especially excel Computer literate, especially with excel
- Sharp attention to detail
