Working in the Abattoir area of our Food Production site
Adhering to Hygiene and Health & Safety policies and procedures
Using knives and other equipment provided
To attend work with minimal absences, unless authorised by the Abattoir Manager and be on time as per the agreed working hours;
To assist and support the Abattoir Manager for any additional task given;
To ensure that the cattle's end of life is in accordance with animal welfare requirements and ABP processes where operatives are licensed to carry out this task.
To ensure that work is completed to production deadlines and in accordance with food safety regulations and any other legislation in force and relevant at the time
Successful candidates will need to be comfortable working in a chilled environment of a very busy meat processing factory.
Experience is not required as full training will be provided
GCSE or equivalent in English and Maths required
The successful candidate must have a positive can do attitude
Eager to progress within the business
Keen to learn new skills
Focused and driven
Physically fit
