Acara Solutions is seeking a talented Sr. Accountant to join our client on a Full Time Direct Hire opportunity located in Rolling Meadows IL
Responsible for intricate accounting tasks, you'll ensure financial statement accuracy and timeliness, supporting strategic goals through expert reporting

Responsible for complex accounting tasks, ensuring financial statement accuracy and timelinessOversees general accounting functions including payables, receivables, and ledger managementOrchestrates audits and recommends procedural enhancementsHandles budgeting, ad hoc analysis, tax compliance, and maintains GAAP adherenceProficiency in GAAP, Excel, and financial reporting is essentialDemonstrates exceptional analytical skills, attention to detail, and communication finesseProven track record in audits and data management
Required Skills / Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field Minimum of 7 years of experience in accounting or a related area
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:CPA (Certified Public Accountant) certification Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel Thorough knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and financial reporting Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Experience with financial statement preparation and consolidation Proven ability to work with large amounts of data and manage multiple tasks Demonstrated experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process
