Role Overview & Responsibilities

We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Workshop Control / Service Manager at our client's Southampton location. You will be working in a reputable and well-known HGV dealership. You will be required to run an efficient and professional operation to ensure complete customer satisfaction through the maximum utilisation of workshop facilities. This is a very hands on, exciting, busy and challenging role.

We are looking for candidates with enthusiasm and a dynamic personality who will share our energy and passion and contribute to our ongoing success.

The candidate must have:

· Strong management and leadership skills

· Excellent organisation skills with the ability to multi task and prioritise deadlines

· Experience of working to KPI’s, budgets and meeting targets

· Diligence

· Have a proven track record of managing a team of staff

· Experience in our automotive industry is essential

You need to be pro-active, take pride in what you do, a willingness to learn and be engaged with training and an interest in pursuing a career within our industry.

Hours of work will be Monday to Friday 8.00am to 6.00pm with ½ hour unpaid lunch break. Every third Saturday 8 am to noon. There is a requirement to work late on the last working day of the month to ensure all invoicing is complete and WIP is at correct level. Flexibility within the role is essential to meet the needs of the business and team.
