General Hand / Safety Person(s) wanted!
Adecco Dundee are currently looking for 14 General Hands / Safety Person(s) to work a short term temporary role in Dundee.
Working 7-10 days during a site shutdown, no prior experience is necessary. To be considered for these roles you must be available to start on 13th March and commit to the full temporary assignment. Due to the necessity to provide full site inductions and H&S information to those candidates working within the role - our client is looking for consistency across the team and indeed, for those successful in the post, you will be invited to return for a further 2 shut downs later within the year, in total amounting to approx. 5 weeks worth of work on a full time basis.
14 people are required in total. 7 for day shift and 7 for night shift. Working hours will be confirmed on application.
Day shift pay rate is £10.84 per hour. Night shift pay rate is £11.49 per hour. Albeit this is a short term role - it is a very easy job to undertake and requires absolutely no prior experience or qualifications. We are however looking for reliability, a can-do attitude and the capacity to work well as part of a team. You will also need your own pair of safety trainers/boots.
Your role involves working alongside the maintenance team alerting them to any potential dangers including slips, trips, falls or combustion of materials. This role is also know as a 'fire-watcher'.
