Are you a Production Operative/Overhead Crane Operator looking for a good opportunity at a leading Manufacturing company in the Dudley area?
Our client are recruiting for a skilled and experienced Production Operative to add to their production team with an Indate Overhead Crane License and experienced working in the steel industry.
Job Role
- Working in a fast-paced production environment
- Assisting with the movement of sheet metal around the factory.
- Operating Overhead Crane
- Working to productivity targets
- Maintaining a clean working environment on the shop floor
- Assisting with machinery when required around the shop floor.
- Assisting other staff such as welders and fitters
- Working with a range of raw materials
Experience/Requirements
- Previous working experience in engineering/sheet metal environment is essential
- In date Overhead Crane licence.
- Good communication skills liaising with other departments.
- Comfortable with manual handling and can adhere to Health & Safety regulations
- Comfortable with operating the Overhead Crane.
The Package
- 12 week temporary to permanent contract.
- Days 8am - 4:30 pm
- Opportunity to develop in other areas of the shop floor which can then lead to performance bonuses
