Project Engineering, control panel design and build, software development followed by site installation and commissioning are key parts of our team.
We are looking for a graduate who would like to join the team and develop their skills, in control panel project engineering.
Project Engineers are project technical design: responsible for gathering the full range of
information on all projects to ensure we accurately complete designs and software
development in line with the client requirements. Working alongside the Project Manager
this role is important to ensure the attention to detail is met.
This role is for a graduate who wants to become a Project Engineer in the Controls and Automation industry. The Project Engineer's key duties are:
Site visits when required to collect design information:
Production of Device Lists
Production of ‘Simple FDS' (Functional Design Specification) – smaller projects
Production of Load Lists
Production of I/O Lists
Help with Designers Risk Assessment
Managing of Parts Ordering Lists
Production of Design Brief – Panel Schematics
Raise Drawing Requests
Production of simple Software Brief – were software team complete FDS
Collation of information for Operating and Maintenance Manual
Arrange control panel PDI with Project Manager
Post project support
You will have a structured training plan, and once you have completed your probationary period (12 weeks) formal training HNC in Instrumentation and Control Engineering will be offered.
