This Product Manager-Technical (PMT) supports the product management strategy and execution for the AWS US GovCloud regions. They develop and drive roadmap execution, report on P&L results, drive the business's capacity and infrastructure strategy for the regions, and ensure AWS delivers a delightful customer experience. They support customers across the federal government and commercial sectors, ensuring customers can adhere to compliance requirements while using cloud services with ease.

AWS GovCloud (US) is the leading regulated industry cloud solution that technology leaders have trusted to manage sensitive data and controlled unclassified information (CUI), and is built to enable mission and business critical, high-value assets. It is comprised of two physically and logically isolated U.S. sovereign regions, AWS GovCloud (US-East and US-West), operated by U.S. citizens on U.S. soil that enable secure, scalable, and resilient enterprise cloud architectures.

The PMT for GovCloud will work cross-functionally across technology teams to launch new features and functionality into GovCloud regions on behalf of customers, and drive long-term product strategy. You are responsible for helping to grow the business and enable customers to use the cloud for new types of workloads. You must develop strong relationships with customer-facing teams and be responsive to inputs from many different sources. You should be passionate about delivering services to customers while also possessing a strategic understanding of business objectives. A strong technical background is required to produce concrete specifications and work closely with engineering to drive implementation. In this role, you will be at the forefront of cloud technologies with interactions across the full breadth of AWS services, and must be creative and forward leaning in developing solutions.

This position requires that the candidate selected must currently possess and maintain an active TS/SCI security clearance. The position further requires that, after start, the selected candidate obtain and maintain an active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph or commensurate clearance for each government agency for which they perform AWS work.
