Role:

We are looking for a high-performing individual with the desire, aptitude, and drive to work in a start-up environment. The role is varied and will cover all aspects of operations, including: customer service, logistics, and supply chain management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle customer enquiries, by email and telephone, on a wide range of topics, including: providing quotations, placing customer orders, advising on delivery dates, etc.
  • Receiving stock from our supply chain partners and processing these units ready for storage and / or customer orders.
  • Pick / Pack / Ship finished goods for domestic and international shipments.
  • Trouble-shoot international shipment issues.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Minimum bachelor’s degree (2:1 and above) in a life science subject.
  • Good communication skills, telephone manner, and tone.
  • Ability to manage time effectively, to prioritise and complete tasks required.
  • Exhibit a high degree of flexibility in adapting to a rapidly changing business environment.
  • Computer knowledge and proficiency, including Microsoft Office Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail and a methodological approach to work.
  • Results orientated with the drive and ability to set and meet agreed objectives.
  • Team player with good communication skills.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English.

Renumeration:

Competitive depending on experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £22,500.00-£26,000.00 per year

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Cambridge: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Education:

  • Bachelor's (required)
