We have a fantastic opportunity for a self motivated individual to join our Team at APAC Group Ltd as a Warehouse Team leader.
The successful candidate will lead and manage a small team ensuring orders continue to be processed and the Warehouse is running efficiently and effectively
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
- To work alongside and manage and lead a small team of warehouse staff.
- This is a hands-on role working on the floor with the team helping to bring in deliveries, making sure picking and packing targets are met and orders are printed daily.
- Ensure that stock levels are monitored and maintained.
- Organise and confirm the daily deliveries, checking goods in and out and processing the associated paperwork accordingly.
- Ensure that the warehouse is clean, safe and efficiently operated.
- Ensure that the team daily targets are met.
- Hold regular meetings and performance manage the team when required.
- To support the Warehouse Managers in delivering a professional, cost effective and efficient method of warehouse operations.
Experience & Skills Required:
- Previous supervisory / team leading experience gained within a warehouse / distribution environment is highly desirable.
- You will be self motivated and have a dedicated approach.
- Strong communication and people skills are essential.
- You will have strong organisational and time management skills, be able to make quick decisions and prioritise tasks depending on changing workloads.
- Ability to lead and develop a team, with a dedication to achieve results.
- Demonstrate Leadership skills with the ability to adapt to, and lead people through change.
- Good numeracy, spoken and written communication skills.
- Strong IT skills and knowledge of WMS.
The Shifts are Monday to Friday, Hours to be discussed. (40 hours per week)
