Role Overview & Responsibilities

Aperture Portraits is the Midlands biggest school photography company who have been capturing school photographs of thousands of children over the last 12 years.

Due to expansion we are looking for an outgoing and experienced photographer to join our team of photographers and service some new and existing clients. Being able to interact with children and teaching staff is a key quality that we are looking for in the perfect photographer.

Knowledge of photography is ideal, training will be given so that you photograph the Aperture way.

Aperture's work should benefit your own work so this position is ideal for wedding photographers, studio photographers and children photographers. You must be able to travel throughout the West Midlands, own your own car and carry the equipment provided by us. Knowledge of photoshop would be beneficial too.

Early starts is important to accommodate a school or nursery photography shoot. Training will go ahead during the summer and you will start photographing in schools from September.

Competitive daily rate and equipment is supplied.

You must hold a valid driving licence and have access to a vehicle.

Please make sure you can achieve the following -

  • Do you have a driving licence?
  • Are you ok to carry equipment in your vehicle?
  • Are you ok to travel throughout the West Midlands?

Are you able to arrive at school around 8am? Or 7.30am on some occasions?

Our work is seasonal, our main months of work for photographers are April, May and June and then September, October and November. Does this suit your work life balance?

This job is suited to already established photographer's looking to fill in week days and earn extra money.
