Are you looking to expand your skills and enhance your career to include providing Complex Clinical Care or do you already have Complex Care experience?
Apollo Home Healthcare is seeking experienced Healthcare Assistants to support our service user with her complex care needs.
We are looking for dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Assistants who are passionate about their job, enjoy delivering one to one support and who can build positive relationships with our service users and their families.
Our service user is a mature female who lives in Cambridge who requires 1:1 support during the day.
We have Full Time and Part Time positions available
She likes to maintain her independence as much as possible, so she is looking for a care team who can support her with her social activities such as access the community.
During the day you will be supporting with regular repositioning, transfers and supporting her with her appearance as this is very important to her.
Our clients’ condition puts her at a high level of risk of Autonomic Dysreflexia so we are looking for someone who is alert and can recognise the symptoms. However, we do provide full clinical training if you don’t have this experience
Essential Experience Required
- 3 months previous care experience
- Personal Care
- Moving and Handling
- Medication Administration
Desirable Experience
- Spinal Injury Awareness
- Autonomic Dysreflexia Awareness
We have the following shifts available;
- Full Time / Part Time
- Days
- Monday – Friday 8am – 6pm
- Saturday – Sunday 8am – 1pm
Take a look at our pay rates
Weekdays : £14.00 per hour (£140 approx. per shift)
Weeknights : £15.00 per hour(£150 approx. per shift)
Saturday : £16.00 per hour(£80 approx. per shift)
Sunday : £16.00 per hour (£80 approx. per shift)
Bank Holiday : £17.50 per hour(£175 approx. per shift)
