Apple house is looking for motivated and dedicated staff member where we can train and support you on your chosen career path.

We work on a fixed rota which allows you to plan your week, month or even year in advance! Plenty of overtime is always available along with social day trips with residents.

Apple house has a great ethos and provides support in a homely environment. After winning 4 awards we are looking to expand our team. We are an LD home and the majority of our residents are fully independent. Full training on how to best support them will be provided.

A small award winning residential Care home in the Wigston area who specialises in adults with Learning disabilities is looking for Support workers to join our team. Overtime also available assisting with 1:1 Support.

Successful Candidates:

· Will be willing to complete the care certificate along with other mandatory training courses.

· Must be confident in working with adults who may require support in domestic tasks.

· Prepare meals & snacks when required.

· Assisting and promoting residents with personal care as per care plans.

· Administrating medication and supervising self medicating residents (training provided)

· Encouraging residents to develop and maintain independent living skills.

· Care for residents who are temporarily ill as per care plans.

· Maintaining up to date records.

· Cleaning of communal areas & assisting residents with cleaning their own private space (rooms)

Salary: £10.45 per hour
