Duties and Responsibilities
They include all work normally covered by that job title or as otherwise directed by your immediate manager. In particular, you shall carry out the following:
· To assist in the preparation of excellent quality food: making the pasta and the sauces from the scratch.
· To cook the pasta in front our costumes providing an excellent food quality and costumer service.
· To ensure that the food preparation areas are clean and hygienic
· To clean the food preparation equipment, floors and other kitchen tools or areas
· To sort, store and distribute ingredients
· To assist in stock-taking and storage, including checking deliveries
· To report any problems to the shift leader or to one of the directors
· To adhere to existing working practices, methods, procedures, undertake relevant training and development activities and to respond positively to new and alternative systems
· On performing your duties, exercise them with due diligence and loyalty such knowledge skill and expertise as may be reasonably be expected of a person carrying out such duties
· From time to time, you may be required to take on other duties of which you are capable in addition to or in place of your normal duties
Requirements
· To be able to work independently and as part of a team, to be willing to learn
· To be able to work efficiently within a busy high-pressured kitchen
· Highly organised and punctual, driven to learn in a busy environment
· Excellent attention to detail
· Great understanding of the importance of health and hygiene
