Job Title: Logistics Technician
Location: Rochester, Kent
Salary: £28,000 depending on skills and experience
What you’ll be doing:
- Booking items onto Oracle
- Issuing of parts and kitting
- Locating and transferring stock from production to service
- Handling of loads and ESD components
- Liaising with shop floor technicians, project planners and engineers
Your skills and experiences:
Essential
- Excellent communication, problem solving, organisation and prioritisation skills
- An aptitude for a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail
Desirable
- Experience in Stores highly desirable
- Strong general IT knowledge

The Logistics team:
As a Logistics Technician you will work within the Logistics team reporting to the Manufacturing Resource Leader and providing effective support to the Logistics Department. You will initially work within Main Stores to maintain accurate movement of parts to the appropriate shop floor production cells. This is an exciting opportunity offering development and progression within the team but also across BAE.
