A vacancy has arisen for the above role to work on our Whitford Lodge Farm.
Duties will include:
- Work to high bird welfare standards in line with ACP and IPPC
- Attend to the birds at least 3 times per day and check for stress
- Ensure water/feed and ventilation is available
- Order feed, gas and farm supplies as required
- Keep all areas of the farm clean and tidy
- Vaccinate/medicate birds as necessary
- Be on site at all times of catching
- Cover for the Farm Manager
Applicants should have/be:
- NVQ Level 2 and 3
- Poultry Welfare Training
- Manual Handling Training
- Health & Safety Awareness Training
- Previous experience
- Flexible with hours of work
Salary £25,506, day shift, 45 hrs a week
