This global banking group is seeking an engineer with strong knowledge of AWS, and ideally some exposure to security. In this role, you will be responsible for enhancing, developing and operating the bank’s cyber recovery tooling, which is a cutting edge and exciting new product within AWS. You will on-board new services and will work with the dev team to implement enhancements to the service.

The role is offered at VP level, on a hybrid working basis (up to twice a week in the office). The bank has offices all over England and Scotland, and you will be based in the office closest to you.
The successful candidate will have hands-on AWS engineering experience including AWS toolkits such as LAMBDA and S3. You must also have some exposure to programming languages such as Python or Java as you will need to understand any potential issues with the existing code. You do not need to be able to write code yourself as you can rely on the established team of expert programmers already in place.
Previous cyber security experience is not a pre-requisite, but you must be interested to pursue a career in this fast-moving space.
Visa sponsorship will be considered for an exceptional candidate who is already working in the UK and who has very strong AWS engineering skills.
