Barnes Roffe Recruitment have an exciting opportunity for an IT Support Assistant
to join one of their clients based in Leytonstone, London E11.
What is the role?
Working as one of a team of three, you will be based in our office in E11, but be able to travel to our offices in UB8, DA2, SE1 and EC2 on a regular basis to meet and support users.
You will report to the IT Managers for guidance and supervision and work under the IT Partner.
The team you will join is responsible for IT services for the firm. As a member of the IT Team, you will support end users (approx. 200) and have a key role in helping the maintenance and development of IT systems.
You will be able to demonstrate self-learning, with an appetite to continually improve your skills. The main purpose of the role will be to provide 1st line/Deskside support to staff and liaising with external support companies when needed.
You must have the ability to learn and adapt very quickly, will be organised, able to work to tight timescales and problem solve. You will also be required to have strong assessment skills in addition to excellent people skills and confidence in talking to and meeting with people of all levels.
Where Is It Based?
This role will primarily be based at the Leytonstone E11 office, however it will also involve working on site at the 4 other offices so you will need to have a valid driving licence and your own transport – travelling costs paid.
