Role Overview & Responsibilities

Beamish is a world class open air museum where visitor needs are our priority. We are currently seeking enthusiastic, hands on, excellent communicators to join our Food and Beverage Team. Duties include offering a warm welcome to our visitors, assisting with the preparation of food, maintaining the cleanliness of front of house areas and confidently operating till systems.

Beamish operates a wide variety of busy food outlets and the ideal candidates will be flexible, confident with a ‘can do’ attitude. Passionate about delivering the highest standards of customer service and a strong communicator. Experience of working within a fast paced environment will be advantageous.

Beamish, the Living Museum of the North is a multi award-winning museum which puts people and the communities we serve at the heart of everything we do. It was founded in 1970 and holds important collections preserving the social, industrial and agricultural heritage of the region which are brought to life across a 350 acre site.

The museum is self-sustaining with a large diverse audience. We rely upon talented people who are able to demonstrate exceptional skills and personal characteristics to deliver the outstanding and immersive experience we offer to visitors.
