About the Role
As a Graduate Engineer, you will work within project teams contributing to delivering effective and professional services.
Key responsibilities include:
- Understanding the project requirements and scope of work
- Understanding the engineering standards that apply to the project
- Contributing to the production of technical design information, including calculations, specifications and reports
- Contributing/supporting the production of 3D models and CAD drawings
- Applying technical design best practices
- Ensuring that the design output includes the appropriate risk assessment
- Ensuring design deliverables meet the required standards of accuracy and quality
About You
An experienced professional you'll have sound business development skills and a strong network in the transport sector which is backed up by your excellent technical skills.
To succeed in this position, you'll bring experience such as:
- 1-2 years of experience in some of the technical delivery aspects of Civil & Structural Engineering projects
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD for the production of construction drawings
- Working knowledge of civil and structural engineering software
- Working knowledge of MS Office package (minimum Word and Excel)
- Ability to work under tight programs and budget constraints
- Ability to communicate fluently with other team members
- Understanding of the CDM Regulations
- Qualified to degree level (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering or similar
