We are looking for a part time waiter/waitress to work within our events team at Bowcliffe Hall from March!
Bowcliffe Hall is an inspiring venue for meetings and a beautiful venue for weddings and special events. Built between 1805 and 1825, Bowcliffe retains the stately atmosphere of a country house, but has the amenities expected of a modern office and meeting venue.
Ultimately, you should be able to provide an excellent overall guest experience.
Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent customer service
- Greet customers with a warm welcome
- Confidently serve food/drinks and up-sell any additional products
- Table settings
- Liaise with chefs and working colleagues
- Follow all relevant health department rules/regulations and all customer service guidelines
Requirements:
- Friendly disposition
- Passionate about delivering to the highest level of customer service
- Proven work experience as a waiter or waitress
- Well presented, with excellent communication skills
- Confident working individually as well as in a team
- Flexible and willing to develop the role into other areas of hospitality when needed
- Some experience with cash register and any ordering information
- Willing to assist in other areas when needed (i.e.cleaning, kitchen support, pot wash)
Job Type: Part-time
Salary: £8.00-£10.00 per hour
