At Braehead foods we have been supplying Chefs across the UK and Europe with the finest quality ingredients for almost 30 years. A family business since 1989, we supply everything from quality chilled, ambient and frozen foods, to bespoke products made for chefs, by chefs in our Production Kitchen.
Our Telesales team are the heart of our business, if you are looking for career progression this could be a huge opportunity for you. With on-going training provided, we are looking for a professional Telesales Operative to advise and deliver amazing service, with a constant view for growth.
This is a 40 hour contract, worked 5 days over 7 per week between Sunday – Friday. A requirement of this job will be at times visiting our chefs on site carrying out the sales role face to face rather than by telephone.
£10.50 hourly wage plus performance bonus upon meeting the criteria.
Responsibilities:
- Building orders from Inbound calls
- Outbound calling to existing clients
- Ascertaining customer’s needs & tailoring the best solution for each individual
- Promote excellent quality produce
- Cross Selling a multitude of additional products
- Working independently as well as part of the team to achieve KPIs.
- Proactively maintaining contact with our customers over the phone and dealing with general customer enquiries.
- Building excellent rapport with customers.
Essential Criteria:
- Positive, self-motivated attitude
- Strong communication skills
- A track-record of results generated within a previous sales role
- Experience in Telesales
- Competitive mind-set
- Be able to listen and question effectively
- Confident and motivated
- Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
- A drive for excellent standards
- Team worker
- Ability to work on own initiative
- Basic to intermediate IT skills
Desirable Criteria:
- 1+ years of making outbound sales calls or have previous customer service experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Enjoy building relationships with customers
- Strong IT skills
- Sales Lead Generators & Telesales Executives (preferred)
