We are seeking a talented Communications/PR Consultant to join our team and take charge of crafting compelling written materials such as articles, presentations, press releases, and more. As a Communications/PR Consultant, you will be responsible for communicating our organization's messages effectively to various stakeholders, including clients, media outlets, and the public.
Responsibilities:Content Creation: Develop engaging written content for a variety of mediums including articles, presentations, press releases, blog posts, newsletters, and social media posts.Message Development: Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop key messages and narratives that align with the organization's goals and objectives.Media Relations: Cultivate relationships with journalists, bloggers, and media outlets to secure media coverage and manage media inquiries.Press Releases: Write and distribute press releases to announce company news, events, and initiatives.Publications: Create and maintain content for company publications such as brochures and white papers.Speechwriting: Assist in crafting speeches and presentations for company executives and spokespeople.Digital Content: Contribute to the development of digital content strategies and create engaging content for websites, social media platforms, and email campaigns.Brand Management: Help maintain brand consistency across all communication channels and ensure messaging aligns with the organization's brand guidelines.Monitoring and Analysis: Monitor media coverage and industry trends to identify opportunities and measure the effectiveness of communication strategies.
Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or related field. Master's degree preferred.Experience working with media outlets and cultivating relationships with journalists.Must have established relationships with outlets to support legal industry/law firms.Proven experience (10 years) working in communications, public relations, or related field.Exceptional writing and editing skills with a keen eye for detail.Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with design software such as Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Knowledge of social media platforms and digital marketing trends.Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
