Post Title: Facilities & Maintenance Assistant – Fixed Term until 30th September 2023
Hours: Equivalent to Grade 3 of the Oxford University Pay Scale - £21,197 - £23,715 pa according to experience (£19,872.18 - £22,232.81 pa pro-rata to hours)
Salary: Standard full-time hours are 40 per week, Monday to Friday. The hours for this FTC are 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday, 6am to 2pm with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break. (Flexibility around working hours may be possible)
Here at Brasenose College we have an exciting opportunity to join our friendly College Maintenance Team, we are looking to recruit a Facilities Assistant to join us on a fixed term contract until 30th September 2023. The role is offered as a full-time, fixed term contract, working 37.5 hours per week, 6am – 2pm Monday – Friday, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break. We may consider a flexibility around working hours for the right candidate.
The post holder is responsible for providing a consistent standard of care and upkeep of the quads of all College properties, carrying out manual handling tasks such as moving furniture and room set ups during the conference season. The role will involve working alone but liaising closely with the Maintenance Team. It should be noted that working outside in all types of weather is required for this post.
