We are looking for an experienced Butcher to join our team primarily on our Catering/Wholesale side.
The successful candidate will be responsible for boning, cutting, trimming, and preparing meat for sale.
The candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a passion for working with food. Other duties include stock management, keeping the work area clean and sanitary, and providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Bone, cut, trim, and prepare meats for sale.
- Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment Adhering to our HACCP plan.
- Understand the principles of food safety and sanitation.
- Be able to identify different cuts of meat.
- Operate meat-cutting equipment safely and efficiently.
- Be able to work with customers to meet their needs.
- Be able to use own initiative when required and be equally comfortable working as part of a Team or at times alone
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: From £17.00 per hour
