We are currently looking to add an IT Support Assistant to our IT Department. We are a busy legal practice located in Scunthorpe town centre with a little under 50 users; you will report directly to the IT Manager.
You must have good problem solving skills combined with an ability to effectively communicate with users of varied levels of ability with regard to technology. The successful applicant will be a keen learner, with a can do attitude and excellent time management skills.
You must be familiar with:
- Windows Server
- Microsoft Exchange
- Active Directory and AzureAD
- Networking (including VLANs)
- Windows 10/11
- Microsoft Office/M365 (predominantly Outlook, Word and Excel)
The following experience is desirable but not essential to your application:
- Certificate Management
- PowerShell, Go and C#
- pfSense
- Other operating systems: iOS/MacOS, Android, OpenBSD or another *nix environment.
- MS SQL Server
- Hosted VOIP phone system
Salary will be £19k-22.5k depending upon experience and you will be entitled to 28 days annual leave (rising to 33 after service) inc Bank Holidays.
