Cash and Banking Assistant - 9 month FTC
Bristol - 2 days in the office/ Hybrid working
This role would be a great opportunity for someone coming from practice, looking to gain more experience in Finance
The Role
- Accurately post all transactions within the company bank accounts
- Oversee and monitor supply and delivery of paying in books across the estate
- Carry out nominated bank reconciliations on a monthly basis
- Carry out banking relevant to the support centre
- To escalate issues as required to the Cash and Banking Team Leader
- To work cross functionally with all departments to ensure all bank postings are posted correctly and to the relevant cost or income account
- To assist with the processing of employee expenses and the clinical team invoices
- To maintain accurate records for audit purposes and assist with internal and external audit processes where required
- Complete and obtain the appropriate approval for all bank correspondence and instructions
- Carry out reconciliations of banking deposits against the company’s cash management system and resolve or escalate any discrepancies
- Ad hoc duties as and when required
Skills/experience
- Good communication skills
- Demonstrable experience of high volume data entry
- Computer literate particularly Excel
- Experience with bank reconciliations
- Working to strict deadline
- Prioritisation and time management
- Good attention to detail
- Experience with CODA would be desirable but not essential
