Role Overview & Responsibilities

We are seeking a Fork Lift Truck Instructor/Trainer/Assessor to provide RTITB Accredited Counterbalance Fork Lift Truck Training within our Skills Academy Training Centre as part of our programme to support unemployed persons to upskill and gain required licencing/qualifications to enter work as well as provide training commercially.

The successful post-holder will develop and deliver a Level 2 Award in Fork Lift Truck Operations qualification that supports learner development and provides additional scope and experience for candidates. Our Instructor/Trainer/Assessor will play a key role in driving the Colleges commercial FLT offer, utilising industry experience and contacts.

You possess a forklift truck license and a minimum of 2 years’ experience of driving a counterbalance FLT. You will have experience of coaching/mentoring people with mixed abilities and of training and/or supervising learners.

The salary for this post is up to £26,688.
