Today, BY TERRY offers customers revolutionary foundations, innovative mascaras, and long-lasting lipstick formulas, as well as a 'couture' beauty line of bespoke cosmetics.
We are looking for an experienced Financial Controller to lead our finance team and be part of a fast paced and dynamic cosmetics business.
Responsibilities
- Monthly and annual group management reporting process
- Group consolidation, P&L, and balance sheet ownership
- Group forecasting and budgeting process
- Managing a finance team of 3 staff and outsourced services
- Ownership of cashflow management for the group
- Business partnering – working closely with the commercial, marketing, e-com, and leadership team
- Compliance – filing of statutory accounts, vat returns, corporation tax returns for the group
- Systems – ensure continuous improvement in accounting systems
- Controls and risk management
- Coordination and management of the year end group audit
- Ad-hoc finance tasks as and when required
Profile
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified
- Ideally educated to degree level
- 2-3 years post qualification experience
- ·Experience in multi-currency consolidation and group reporting including statutory accounts
- FX exposure desirable and intercompany balances
- Experience of managing and leading a small team
- High level of excel and accounting system knowledge, ideally NetSuite
- Experience in data analysis; extracting, manipulating, and interpreting data for decision making
- French language desired but not essential
- Team player and excellent communicator – can build relationships with both financial and non-financial people at all levels
- Flexible, organised, hands on, able to meet strict deadlines and excellent attention to detail
- Resilient with excellent problem-solving skills
- Good interpersonal skills required
