Job description

Cambridge Education Exchange Centre are looking for talented English language ,Math , Science and Humanities subjects tutors to join our team of highly-qualified tutors providing online tuition to Chinese students. Our company offers quality one-to-one tutoring via Zoom/Skype to Chinese students . Tutors should have a flexible working approach and ideally varied previous teaching/tutoring experience, as tutees will range in age and ability.

Tutor responsibilities:

⁃ Assessing students’ ability in the first session and creating a tailored plan of study.

⁃ Planning and sourcing class materials before each session.

⁃ Marking homework set during the sessions and providing feedback.

⁃ Keeping organised notes about the progress of each student.

⁃ Maintaining open communication with CEEC and parents of students about the progress of classes and areas of the students’ learning that need more work.

Tutor skills:

⁃ Degree required (related degrees preferred).

⁃ Tutoring/teaching experience required.

⁃ Experience teaching English as a foreign language preferred.

⁃ Excellent organisational skills.

⁃ Ability to develop positive report with students.

⁃ Proficient use of online teaching platforms such as Zoom and Skype.

Hours: 15-25 teaching hours per week

Pay: competitive pay, dependent on previous experience.
