Job Purpose: The Director of Computer & Information Systems will lead teams dedicated to engineering, installing, and maintaining innovative solutions pivotal to the future of the company's computing and cloud platforms. This strategic role encompasses guiding product development integration, mentoring technical staff, and fostering an environment of continuous improvement and operational excellence within the organization.Responsibilities:Strategic Oversight (40%): Develop and implement business strategies, policies, and procedures. Work across departments to align project priorities and incident management. Evaluate business unit performance to ensure organizational objectives are met and initiate improvements to enhance efficiency.Project and Team Management (30%): Manage project timelines and deliverables, oversee installations/upgrades, and ensure robust maintenance protocols. Mentor teams and guide technical decisions to align with long-term organizational goals. Escalate critical issues to higher management as needed.Incident Resolution (20%): Oversee the resolution of escalated support issues and direct incident handling. Analyze and report on incident resolution effectiveness and project outcomes.Industry Alignment (10%): Stay abreast of industry trends and practices, ensuring compliance with IT standards and guiding the adoption of emerging technologies.Required Education:Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.Preferred Education:Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field.Experience:Minimum 10 years of relevant experience.At least 5-10 years of supervisory experience managing engineering teams in large-scale projects.
