Role Overview & Responsibilities

Careaid is recruiting dedicated, empathetic, and passionate person to join our team in London Borough of Islington, Hackney, Tower Hamlets, Newham, Barking and Dagenham, Camden, Islington and surrounding areas. The role of a care worker is challenging but highly rewarding. As a Care worker you will need to be self-motivated, organised, flexible, caring, sensitive to the needs of others be active team player but also able to work on own initiative.

The role includes:

· Care for and encourage our Service Users in their own homes in a variety of ways, based on their individual circumstances enabling them to be independent in their own homes.

· Assist with personal care (washing, bathing and toileting).

· Assist with shopping, meal preparation and light domestic duties.

· Assist with medication, mobility and other more complex care needs (specialist training provided).

· Provide companionship and assist with activities/outings,.

You must have right to work in the UK. At least NVQ level 2 or Care Certificate is required. Also required-experience of working with challenging behaviour client.

Full time, Part time and Bank staff positions are available, we also have a variety of shift patterns to suit most lifestyles. Being a driver with own vehicle and living in and around the areas is an added advantage.
