£22,000 basic + competitive benefits!
Initial 12 months FTC
A leading specialist in sonar technologies within the marine engineering industry is looking for a Storesperson to join their busy team based in Hampshire (full training provided).
In this role, you are responsible for ensuring company stock and non-stock items are received, stored, picked and delivered to internal and external customers in an efficient and timely manner.
You will also offer support to other departments and provide good customer service by communication and responding to business needs, while adhering to health and safety procedures.
The role will include:
- Stock checking, picking kits and handling electronic components, picking parts for sub-contractors, production and sales orders.
- Delivering and collecting parts within the company, keeping the area safe and tidy, following health and safety procedures.
- Good attention to detail - counting, weighing, labelling parts.
- Able to listen and execute instructions in a focused and professional manner.
Experience/Skills required:
- Positive attitude, good work ethic and a willingness to learn and to help others.
- Attention to detail.
- Able and keen to learn new tasks.
- Able to work on your own initiative after receiving training.
