Job Brief
We are looking for an experienced Production & Warehouse Manager to oversee and coordinate the copacking, fulfilment and despatches of jobs at our warehouse in Thornbury. This is a great opportunity for a dynamic and forward-thinking individual to join a fast-growing print & copacking business.
The ideal candidate will have strong management skills as well as previous experience in production planning and warehouse management.
Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise production staff to ensure that the delivery of each job runs smoothly and efficiently.
- Forward planning of jobs to ensure required components are delivered on time.
- Monitor production standards, investigating and rectifying underperformance as well as identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Management of staff including reviews and disciplinaries.
- Coaching and developing staff to ensure high performance and motivation.
- Implementing and maintaining health & safety procedures, compliance, and other certifications.
- Using the WMS to keep accurate records of goods in/out and stock held.
- Maintain cost-effective production in line with targets set.
- Provide accurate progress reports to directors on a regular basis.
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience of managing a team.
- Management of warehouse stock control system.
- Ability to work under pressure on multiple jobs and manage priorities.
- Good knowledge of MS office.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Quality focused, with good attention to detail and strives to get things right first time.
- Shows a passion for what they do, is enthusiastic and shows initiative.
Job Type: Permanent
Salary: £35,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
