Warehouse Operative in Bedford, MK42 0PQ

Your role as a Warehouse Operative:
- Loading plastic food trays onto a conveyor belt. The trays are unloaded at the other end and returned to the suppliers
- Unloading cages and trays from trailers and taking them to a baling machine, where the cardboard and plastic are then pressed into bales, which come out at the other end
- You must enjoy physical work as you will be on your feet throughout the shifts
Typical working hours as a full time Warehouse Operative:
Pre 12 weeks:
- Day shift: 06:00am until 14:00pm | Night shift: 22:00pm until 6:00am
- Shifts are any 5 days out of 7
Post 12 weeks:
- 4 on 4 off shift pattern for both day and night shifts
- If you want to remain on an 8 hour shift pattern 5 days a week you can!
Your pay rate as a full time Warehouse Operative:
Pre 12 weeks:
- Day shift: 11 per hour for basic hours | 12 per hour overtime rate
- Night shift: 13.50 per hour for basic hours | 18 per hour for overtime rate
- Overtime hours are paid after 48 hours of work is completed in a week
Post 12 weeks:
- Day shift: 10.54 including 2 x 15 minute paid breaks
- Night shift: 13.40 including 2 x 15 minute & 1 x 30 minute paid breaks
