Role Overview & Responsibilities

The Role - Energy Advisor or Trainee

<br><b>Location:</b> Mainly home based, but some office or outreach attendance may be required.

<br><b>Hours:</b> Full-time, 35 hours per week

<br><b>Closing date:</b> 17th April 2023

<br><b>Interview date:</b> 19th - 21st April 2023

We’re an ambitious charity determined to deliver quality services to our communities. Each year we improve the lives of tens of thousands of local people from across Stockport, Oldham, Rochdale and Trafford by sharing information and offering advice, support and guidance.

We have gained energy funding aimed at helping to alleviate fuel poverty in the Northwest region and are looking for a number of Energy or Trainee Energy Advisers to join our existing energy team.

<br><br>

The successful applicant will be an efficient and flexible team member who has

<br>

Experience or knowledge of energy efficiency and fuel poverty programmes

<br>

Experience delivering energy advice or advice work in general

<br>Demonstrable experience of writing and maintaining case records that confirm to a quality standard

<br>The ability to research, analyse and interpret complex information and produce and present clear verbal and written reports

<br>Excellent communication & teamwork skills

<br><br>

A City and Guilds Level 2 or 3 qualification in Energy Advice would be advantageous but not essential as full training will be provided.

<br><br>

This role sits within the Energy team under Business Delivery, line managed by the Account Manager for Energy Services.
