Job Description
As an Associate Program Compliance Manager, you’ll learn first-hand from our team of outstanding professionals and grow into leading compliance strategy and execution for your own portfolio of advertiser clients. You’ll also manage publisher outreach and ensure violations are remedied in a timely manner. You’ll apply monitoring technologies and auditing to the client’s specific needs using your skills in strategic planning, creative thinking, strong communication, and exceptional attention to detail.
All levels of Program Compliance Managers have ownership of the services within their portfolio and take pride in supporting business growth by providing unique insights, informed advice, and consistent execution based on client policies, CJ’s requirements, and industry best practices.
This is an individual contributor role. You’ll collaborate regularly with other Program Compliance team members and throughout the CJ organization. You’ll use specialized software, for which you’ll receive training, as well as typical business applications such as Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
What You Will Be Doing:
You’ll apply monitoring technologies and auditing to your client’s specific needs using your skills in strategic planning, creative thinking, strong communication, and exceptional attention to detail. This includes creating audit plans and overseeing work executed by supporting team members. You’ll refine your compliance skills with guidance from senior team members and will use specialized software as well as typical business applications such as Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
Competencies for this role fall under three key areas:
1. Strategically combine monitoring technology, data, auditing, and publisher management to maximize compliance monitoring coverage and speed in identifying and resolving issuesDemonstrate mastery of compliance tools and use them appropriately to monitor for and investigate compliance violations; consistently review and optimize monitoring technologyLeverage data including referring URLs, performance, and violation trends to maximize compliance monitoring coverage, speed, and accuracy in identifying and resolving issuesManage content auditing URL lists, audit criteria, and related communication with supporting team membersExecute ad hoc audits as needed to meet service requirements, e.g. time-sensitive promotional content updates; conduct quality assurance reviewsEnsure all aspects of compliance service are being executed thoroughly and accuratelyIdentify and pursue additional monitoring needs, risks, and coverage expansion ideas and opportunities 2.Diligent follow-up demonstrating expertise, responsiveness, and business value to clients (external and internal clients)Reliably accurate, on-time deliverablesResponsive to client, publisher, and internal communicationsConsistently communicate with and on behalf of clientsProactively share information and strategic guidance with clients relevant to the industry, vertical, and their specific programAccurately maintain all reporting and tracking logs
3. Develop and apply a deep understanding of client needs, program policies, industry and regulatory environmentComprehensive knowledge of CJ Publisher Service Agreement and related policiesComprehensive knowledge of your client’s program termsMaintain and continuously expand industry knowledge including publisher business models, CJ technology and systems related to compliance, regulatory developmentsProvide consultation and guidance to help advertisers develop clear policies aligned with industry best practices and help publishers understand and abide by those policiesRegularly reflect on client needs and where compliance is adding value; identify and pursue opportunities to optimize compliance coverage and resource utilization
Qualifications
