You will be an important member of the team as a Housekeeping Assistant at The Tower Arms.
☞The Role:
With an eye for detail and a desire to clean, You will be expected to work as part of a team to ensure that the hotel's rooms and general spaces are ready on schedule and to our high standards, as well as welcoming our visitors with a smile and a warm welcome as they pass through the hallways. Our Housekeeping Assistants interact with our clients equally as much as any other member of staff. You will be working behind the scenes to ensure the Hotel's standards are upheld and that our guests' rooms are immaculately prepared for check-in. As a Housekeeper, you'll be the type of person who never leaves a bed untidy. You'll apply your high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and tidiness to our clients, 19 room hotel ensuring that they're pristine and attractively presented to provide hotels visitors with a comfortable room, and a good nights sleep You'll may also be working with laundry, ensuring that the bedding is kept clean for the comfort and hygiene of the residents. You'll also be on the lookout for any fire and accident hazards, collaborating with the housekeeping and maintenance teams to mitigate any threats to residents' safety.
☞The ideal candidate should have the following:
- Previous experience within a cleaning role (or similar) preferably including knowledge of cleaning chemicals, although not mandatory as full training will be provided.
- Living within a commutable distance of the operational location (described above).
- Be flexible, willing to work weekend and potential overtime as and when needed.
- Have impeccable time management and always be punctual.
☞Duties:
- Enthusiastically taking on the all requirements of the role including, hovering, dusting, wiping down surfaces, emptying bins, mopping floors, cleaning equipment/machinery, WC’s and any other areas as agreed with the client. Other cleaning duties will be required.
- Presenting at all times a smart, vigilant, and commanding presence. Maintaining the highest standard of personal grooming, as per company policy.
- Confidently working individually or as part of a team to bring professional cleaning services to clients, keeping within time schedules and meeting set targets.
- Developing and maintaining an excellent working relationship with clients (and visitors to the client’s premises) in your operational area.
