A week in the life of a Systems Engineer III:Develop software in LabVIEW programming environment.Design, develop, document, test and debug application software and systems for onboard ship and submarine research.Collaborate with equipment designers and hardware engineers in the planning, design, development, and utilization of National Instruments data acquisition modules and LabVIEW software.Analyze user needs and software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints.Conduct Independent Verification and Validation of existing LabVIEW software.Conduct testing with actual system hardware and document test results.Some travel ( Job RequirementsAbility to obtain a Secret clearance.B.S. degree in Engineering, Science, Applied Math, or closely related field.National Instruments CLA or CLD CertificationThis position is 100% on-site.
