Job Description

Connected Health Care is looking for a Radiology Technologist for an opportunity at a critical access facility near Sidney, NE. The role comes with a generous annual salary of $70,000.00, many excellent benefits and the chance to progress your career at a thriving and inclusive company.

The Radiology Technologist performs radiology procedures on ambulatory and hospital patients as requested by a physician or other licensed provider to diagnose disease and injury following established protocols. You will rotate on-call during the week and on weekends.

In your first few weeks in this Radiology Tech role, you can expect to:

Perform high-quality radiology procedures, according to exam protocol, on timeMaintain production and quality of imaging procedures by following established standards and proceduresPrepare the patient and area for the procedure by positioning, adjusting immobilization devices, moving equipment into specified positions and adjusting equipment controls to set exposure factorsProtect patients and employees by adhering to safety requirements, infection control, drug and radiation policies, protocols and techniquesUse proper sterile techniques when setting up and performing invasive multimodality procedures and maintain hand hygiene requirements.

Role

To apply for this Radiology Tech role, you must be a Grad of an Accredited Program and have at least one year of experience. You will also require the following:

ARRT-R RadiographyAbility to perform tasks independently without the need for routine oversightThe ability to effectively administer first aid and use an emergency cartTo provide timely, accurate, and cost-efficient services in compliance with established System and Regulatory standards, policies and procedures.
