As an IT Support Engineer, you would be joining Sipcom, our fast-growing telecommunications and digital transformation organisation. Acquired by the Content+Cloud group in 2021, the company is going from strength to strength and is looking to expand further.
In this diverse role you can expect to be involved in several aspects of our support service, including:
- Responsibility for answering calls and responding to tickets
- Ticket logging, monitoring alerts
- Undertaking first line fixes
- Appropriately escalating issues to 2nd and 3rd line support as required
Full training and development plans exist for those wanting to specialise or upskill, making this a fantastic opportunity if you want to develop in this field.
No prior IT Support Desk experience is required for this role. If you have it, that’s great, but the important attributes we are looking for are:
- Great interpersonal skills
- An aptitude to learn
Please note this role will require you to work a shift-pattern, provisional schedule below.
- 12-hour shifts
- Day Shifts - 4 days on, 4 days off
- Night Shifts - 4 nights on, 4 nights off
Please note weekday shifts need to be worked within the office. Weekend and any night shifts can be worked from home
Day shifts will be done from within the Cardiff office. Night and weekend shifts can be done at home.
