my client has a key requirement for a Instrument Maintenance Technician to cover North Riding, Bradford, Leeds, Penines in Yorkshire.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
- To support our client’s E&I team in undertaking instrument maintenance delivery and standby support on operational gas sites
- Instrument maintenance (re-calibration / verification of instrument systems)
- ATEX inspections – Detailed
- Instrument remedial actions
- CAPEX work supervision
- Provide written and oral documentation of job status.
- Maintain and promote a professional and harmonious relationship and with the customers’ representatives.
- The ability to complete client work orders and time sheets correctly and to the satisfaction the client and the end user.
- Detailed completion of project close out reports, documentation and certification (signed, dated and identified correctly for invoicing and for inclusion within certification books). Timely submission to the supervisor or engineer.
- Position is a 2-year fixed-term staff contract
- Salary is £47,320.00
- 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with opportunities for overtime
- Overtime rates are £33.00 per hour weekdays, and £35.00 per hour weekends and bank holidays
- Must be available for the standby rota organised as a daily rotation operating on a one in four frequency, commencing at 16:00 to 08:00 (mid-week) and 08:00 to 08:00 (following day) on a weekend
- Will receive a standby retainer of £67.00 per shift mid-week and £100.00 per shift weekends
- Will be provided with a company van
