Role Overview & Responsibilities

Coventry University has been ranked joint first amongst Modern Universities in England for career prospects and we are in the top 6 universities for student experience. Our commitment to providing the best for our students doesn’t stop with them, it starts with our people. Without our dedicated teams, we wouldn’t be ranked so highly or have won any of our numerous awards.

We are one of the largest employers in Coventry and we offer our people a place to belong and an organisation to be proud of.

The School of Nursing, Midwifery and Health is seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and ambitious HCPC registered dietitian to join the team of academics delivering a range of excellent and dynamic programmes. The successful candidate will be contributing to the teaching and learning on the BSc Dietetics programme, Masters Dietetics and Leadership (with Apprenticeship route) programme and Masters in Public Health Nutrition.

If you have some clinical experience, but feel like a move into teaching is for you, our assistant lecturer post is an excellent opportunity for you.

The School of Nursing, Midwifery and Health is the largest School in the University. We have a broad provision of health professions related courses across Dietetics, Nursing, Midwifery, Occupational Therapy, Operating Department Practice, Paramedic and Physiotherapy all leading to professional registration. We also have a large portfolio of CPD courses at undergraduate and postgraduate levels and now benefit from new, ‘state of the art’ health science simulation facilities, a £60M+ investment.
