Right now we are looking for a Project Manager to join our PMO team in Daresbury
The Role;
As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing projects of mixed size, commercial value and priority. You will be part of a fast-paced PMO team and will work alongside various departments with the aim to deliver successful projects within budget and target delivery dates. Liaison with third parties to manage the implementation of multiple technical projects will also be required. Due to the scale of our business, we are looking for an experienced PM to work alongside a small team where you will take a lead role in planning, managing and delivering projects.
As a Project Manager at CTS you will:

  • Coordinate internal & external resources for the on-time execution of projects
  • Delivery of Large/Medium sized Projects, to budget and within required timeframes
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date project plans for tracking and monitoring ongoing projects to support delivery on time and within scope.
  • Manage changes and documentation of requirements to project scope.
  • Issue regular progress updates to management and present appropriate information, as requested at project review meetings.
  • Management of commercial budgets and forecasting of active projects.
  • Procurement negotiations with third-party vendors.
  • Escalate project issues in a timely manner.
  • Provide monthly overviews of projects to management with clear communication of risks.
  • Assist PMO Manager in developing our PMO processes.
  • Perform and assist in additional duties as directed by the management.

Essential Skills
As a Project Manager, you will build and maintain relationships with senior stakeholders, you will work under pressure, remaining organised in order to prioritise your workload to meet demands.

You will also demonstrate that you have:

  • Substantial experience in managing and leading multiple projects to successful outcomes.
  • Excellent people and communication skills with the ability to interact with technical and non-technical groups.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, at times working autonomously to deliver complex projects.
  • Experience in multiple resource management.
  • A high degree of commercial understanding and knowledge of planning and project controls.
  • Strong team approach and the desire to develop your skills and experience alongside us as we grow the business.
  • It would be advantageous if you also have:
  • Effective analytical, problem-solving, negotiation and organizational skills
  • Effective project management fundamentals (e.g., initiation, planning, delivery, risk management, stakeholder management)
  • Experience in MSP environment.
