We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic Head Veterinary Nurse at Werrington Vets.
Werrington Vets is a busy small animal Veterinary practice in Peterborough. We are a team of 4.5 Vets, 7 RVNs, 1 SVNs, 2 KAs and 6 other support staff. The practice is purpose built with great facilities for patients and staff alike.

We have high standards of care and expertise in carrying out advanced surgeries and working up complex medical cases. Werrington Vets is a modern, well equipped, and progressive practice. We pride ourselves on the highest levels of patient care and are proud to be a Gold Standard ISFM Cat Friendly Clinic, with a view to being Dogs Trust accredited soon.
The ideal applicant will be someone with previous supervisory or management experience to lead our professional and experienced nursing team, you will be the direct report for the 9 nursing team members and will work closely alongside our Clinical Director and Practice Manager. You should have excellent communication and organisational skills and strive to develop our team to be the very best they can be.
The right candidate will be available to work 30-40 hours per week with some flexibility. Participation in the Saturday morning rota on a 1:6/7 basis is essential.
No OOH or bank holidays! Salary of up to £33,000 DOE with lots of fantastic benefits.
