Role Overview & Responsibilities
Cygnet Healthcare is looking for a daytime support worker to join our team working at Nightingale (Bournemouth). If you have previously worked or are currently working as a care assistant, healthcare assistant, or support worker looking for a new opportunity or your first role within Social Care to help support residents with Autism and Learning Difficulties within a care home setting as part of the NHS partnership.
Nightingaleโs is a 10-bed specialist residential care home supporting adults over the age of 18 with Autism and Learning Difficulties located in Bournemouth (BH6 3PX) in Boscombe.
What Cygnet Offer:
Up to ยฃ10.90 Per Hour. Pay reviewed at 6 and 18 months

Positive Attitude and Caring Approach

No previous care experience is required
About the Role:
Working from 07:45am till 08:00pm on a 42 Hour Full Time Contract
Working alternate weekends
Helping to promote resident independence
Supporting residents in all aspects of day-to-day life, encouraging and promoting independence
Monitoring of residents and reporting concerns to senior team members or managers
Going out with residents into the local community to attend events, parks, restaurants and local activities
Completing residentโs records to help monitor health and overall well-being
