Saturday Delivery Driver

Role Overview & Responsibilities

We are recruiting Saturday delivery drivers!

Shire manufacture timber garden buildings and deliver nationally to home and company addresses. Products range from children's playhouses to log cabins.

We preload our fleet of 3.5t Nissan NV400 flatbeds and provide drivers with mobile phones equipped with delivery software which provides drivers with job information and allows customers to track progress. The system allows for photos to be taken as proof of delivery so the process is contactless.

Drivers are expected to unload manually without assistance when delivering to home addresses and interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner.

Successful applicants will have a valid UK driving license with no more than 6 penalty points and be contacted to arrange an interview

Weekend rate of pay £11.00/hour

We also pay a bonus of £10 when we receive positive feedback from customers.

For drivers looking to progress from 3.5t vehicles to HGV drivers we are the employer for you. We have a fleet of HGV vehicles. After you have gained experience we will assist paying for HGV training courses and tests! Some of our HGVs are equipped with Cranes and Forklifts we will offer training to operate this equipment fully funded.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent, Zero hours contract
Part-time hours: 8 per week
