Quality & Technical Placement
(Year Placement)
The group is looking for a student placement or technical graduate to work within our Quality & Technical Team at Dromona. This is essentially a role working within our site production, quality & technical teams and is an excellent opportunity for those looking for a career in the food industry to gain valuable experience.
The candidate will have opportunities to work the following:
- The reviewing and collating of paperwork
- Completion of traceability and mass balance exercises
- Investigating and responding to customer feedback
- Laboratory Assistance and holiday cover
- Daily QC checks in addition to the QA organisation as current
- GMP and Compliance auditing completion and communication
- Assist with daily Taste Panels
- Developing and implementing cleaning procedures
- Liaising with customer on SAQ requests
This is a dynamic and fast-paced role in which the successful candidate will be adaptable and flexible in helping with changing site requirements.
The successful candidate should have a strong academic record and be working towards or have recently completed a degree in a relevant discipline such as Food science, engineering or similar.
You should have strong communication and interpersonal skills and show good attention to detail. Excellent IT skills are essential particularly Excel.
